Alvin, THE Chipmunk!

Hello there everybody!

My name is Alvin, I am almost 5 years old and I’m a Bulldog Mix.

My journey through the shelter system started about 2 years ago. Best Friends chose me to come and live with them, and got me out of South Central Shelter. How cool is that?

I’ve been adopted once so far, but shortly after Best Friends found me returned to East Valley Shelter, luckily they came to get me. I went back to Best Friends where I’ve been patiently waiting for my furever home!

Now is the part where I tell you about myself, right?

Okay, well I can get pretty excited about things. It could be the littlest thing like blankets, leashes, and jolly balls. I will just get super pumped. I can’t help it, those things are just so great!

Rest assured, I am very grateful for every belonging I come in contact with!

I must be honest with you, my potential furever family, because some times I will get a little too excited. This has gotten me into trouble once before. There was one time where I was out playing with one of my friends in yard and he grabbed my toy and went to throw it. I jumped up to catch the toy in the air, but ended up catching his hand. Oops!

This also pretty much means that I would like to be your one and only. I can get picky with my dog friends, and I’m not the best at sharing my favorite toys!

Okay, now that I got that off my chest, let’s talk about more cool things!

I love going on walks so I’m going to definitely need someone active to take me out every day. Grass is my favorite thing, and you will notice that I like to sprawl onto it. I’m also going to need someone who has a pretty good grip on my leash. When I get taken out for the first time in awhile, I can pull pretty hard. I’m just so happy, the world has so many smells!

Even though I can get pretty excited at times, I also love to chillax. I love when my friends come to sit with me and they let me rub up against them. Of course I have white fur, so be warned, you’ll be branded with strands of my sweet little locks when you leave from our petting session!
